About Us

 Hi, I’m Leora.
It’s good to have you here.
Rain Dust was born during a season of long, rain-filled days in Vancouver, when I found myself longing for something grounding and quietly restorative. In the stillness of those mornings, I began a simple matcha ritual at home. The gentle rhythm of whisking, the warmth of the cup, and the pause it created became a moment of return to myself.

What began as a simple personal ritual slowly became something more meaningful. In the middle of busy days and constant movement, making a cup of tea became a moment to slow down, breathe, and come back to myself. Over time, it became less about the drink itself and more about the feeling it created. Quiet, presence, grounding, and a gentle reconnection to myself in everyday life.

The name Rain Dust reflects this journey and the nature of matcha itself. Rain nourishes the tea leaves, and dust is the fine green powder that becomes matcha. Leaves need rain to grow and matcha is born through transformation. From leaf to fine green dust, Rain Dust is created.

In sharing it, my hope is simply to offer others a small daily ritual that brings a sense of presence, clarity, grounding, and reconnection, wherever they are.
